A. Atheen, a student studying in Grade 10 of our school, has achieved a record by securing first place in the Cursive writing category in the National English Day competition held this year (2024).
It is noteworthy that she has secured first place at the divisional, zonal, district and provincial levels and has secured first place all over Sri Lanka.
This is not an ordinary victory. It is a great achievement that a student from our school has secured first place in this competition among Grade 10 students from about 3200 schools studying in Grade 10 in Sri Lanka.
Although there are many famous leading schools in Sri Lanka, it is a great honor for our school and our entire community that our school student has left all of them behind and secured first place in the said event. Alhamdulillah!
Congratulations to the winning student and the teachers who taught her, especially the English teacher Mr. ULA. The school community would like to express its gratitude and appreciation to Careem Sir and the parents who supported him, as well as to the school principal, P. Muhajarin Sir, who pays close attention to co-curricular activities and is responsible for the students' achievements.
