Today, National Disaster Management and Safety Day was celebrated in a grand and orderly manner at our
Al-Hidaya Ladies' College. The event was excellently organized with the aim of creating awareness among students about disaster management.
The program commenced with a prayer. Following this, the College Principal, Mr. M.T.M. Siyath, delivered an introductory speech. In his address, he clearly explained to the students the necessity of safety measures during disasters, precautionary steps, and social responsibility.
Subsequently, teacher Mr. M.I.M. Thowfeek delivered a special keynote address on the importance of National Disaster Management and Safety Day. He spoke about the methods of facing natural and man-made disasters, and the need for self-confidence and awareness. His speech made a great impact on the students.
To conclude the event, the Vice Principal of the college, Mawlavi A.K. Naleem Sharqi, conducted a Du’a (prayer), seeking the well-being and safety of everyone, bringing the event to a successful close.
Overall, this event was highly beneficial in raising disaster management awareness among students and fostering a mindset of acting responsibly during emergencies. Gratitude was expressed to everyone who supported the successful execution of this event.
